Creative Writing

Part 1:

  1. Explore: Ask students what they liked about the poem and how it made them feel. Discuss how poems can tell stories and express feelings.
  2. Ask students to write their own short poem based on a theme of their choice (nature, animals, friendship, etc.). Encourage them to use descriptive language and imagery.

Creative writing activity

Activity of Creative Writing: Draw up a character profile of a person and then create a list of interview questions for a character they are developing. They can then write the responses in the character’s voice. Questions could include their background, dreams, fears, and favorite memories.
