You cannot see or feel time. Time is a an understanding of the duration of an event from its beginning to its end. Observe two spinning tops. Which lasts longer. Now think of events such as a birthday party, watching a movie at the cinema, participating in a race at school. All take time and thus time can be measured in such ways.

TELLING TIME

Units of time:

1. Seconds is one-sixtieth of an hour,
2. Minutes is one-sixtieth of an hour,
3. Hour is one-twenty-fourth of a day.
4. A day is the amount of time it takes the earth to rotate on its axis.
