The common instrument for measuring time is the clock. You must develop your skill of telling the time.
Every clock has two hands to help tell the time.
The little hand indicates broad, approximate time to the nearest hour.
The big hand indicates minutes before or beyond an hour.
When you look at the hour hand, look at what it is pointing. With the minute hand, look at where it is pointing. The minute hand tells the distance that it has gone around the clock or the distance yet to go for the hand to get back to the top.
