A carpenter needs a hammer and a saw. A mechanic needs a wrench and a screwdriver. The scientist needs his or her tools as well. The scientist tools must be able to measure time, weight, temperature, or length accurately or the the data the scientist give cannot be trusted. The scientist use rulers or measuring tape or laser, to check length; thermometers, to find temperature; and a microscope or telescope, to magnify things.
